Post-Treatment Care

A good programme of hygienic aftercare at home will avoid minor skin infections following electrolysis. It is important to remember to take extra care of the treated area to allow the skin to return to normal. After treatment, avoid:

• Swimming saunas and steam rooms for 24 hours
• Sun exposure for 48 hours
• Make-up or perfumed products on the treated area for 24 hours
• Tight clothing around the treated area

Between Treatments

Between treatments we recommend that you cut or shave new growth in the treatment area and avoid waxing and plucking.
